| For some unknown reason I thought I would really like to ride "Bike Trials". It seemed safer than careening down a mountain or dodging traffic on the street but it's a LOT harder than it appears. After messing around for months on my MTB and in no way planning on spending the $1300 to $2500 that most Trials Bike go for I ran across this thing on eBay. Aluminum short frame, big back tire, correct geometry, and affordable. I did have to put some good brakes on it and a frame stiffener but I've had good times riding it. I'm still terrible and can only track stand for a few minutes and only get up/down items a foot or so but for money well worth it. Yeah, an old man on a Trials Bike.. not the prettiest site but still lots of fun. | |
